Then came Waninkoko's ISO loader, this was the first softmod avaliable, but he was upset with the leak of his ISO loader that was still ongoing beta testing, and abandoned the project. This was an unconvenient method, as it required to solder cables from the Wii to your computer, making your computer a giant modchip. A few months ago, a prototype ISO loader was created. Then came the second millisecond of the Wii homebrew's "big bang". From there, things progressed, for the next few months we learned more about the Wii, and interesting applications such as the Movie Player and various emulators appeared. Then came the Homebrew Channel, allowing users to launch homebrew without the need to boot up Zelda: TP everytime. A few months later the WAD installer came from Waninkoko, allowing people to dump and install their Wiiware and VC channels. From then, homebrew was slow but making progess. Thanks a lot guys!
